Local CommunitiesAzle is a master planned community located primarily in Tarrant County. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 10,947.
Azle is on State Highway 199, 16 miles northwest of downtown Fort Worth, in the northwest corner of Tarrant County; the town extends partly into Parker and Wise County. Our proximenity to Fort Worth appeals to many, as you are just a short drive away from the Fort Worth Stockyards, Bass Performance Hall, a variety of restaurants, theaters and many options for shopping.

One of the more popular parks is Central Park located on Main Street and the amphitheater is the site of the “Music In The Park” event held each summer. Oak Harbor Estates: Situated on the west side of Eagle Mountain Lake among towering oak and cottonwood trees is the subdivision of Oak Harbor Estates. This lakefront neighborhood boasts a boat launch, park & picnic area; sand volleyball court; and swim area . Sidewalks filled with dog-walkers, and neighbors out for an evening stroll line the streets of Oak Harbor. Timberlake Estates: One of the most established neighborhoods in Azle is Timberlake Estates.
